boxes. follows David, a 43 year old bachelor, and Jules, the 18 year old daughter of David's best friend, as they spend an evening together. boxes. enjoyed a successful run at the Prop Theatre, and was the first show of NoMads' inaugural season in Chicago. Selected from among several pieces submitted to the first ever open play submission hosted by NoMads, boxes. was a powerful introduction to the Chicago theatrical scene.
