In the year 2232, a group of four children make a tape to send back to our present time, showcasing what has survived of the Alt-Right. As they wade through the absurdity of memes and /pol/, they uncover taboos that have long since been forgotten, before stumbling upon a single artifact that will change their entire understanding of history.

NoMads' first Chicago Fringe play, and the first NoMads play by Playwright-in-residence Ben Claus since Ca-Ching in 2015.  P is for Pepe was a bold experiment for NoMads, using projections and live streaming video.  A politically topical piece, Pepe ruffled some feathers but was overall received warmly by the Chicago Fringe community.
It is hard and scary to be doing this work in the shadow of Charlottesville, but...it is the essential task of the theatre to confront these fears.
